Dear Family and Friends,
Many of you know the Radabaugh family as the team that is always there to serve in any way needed and for anyone they find out is in need. I know my family has been on the receiving end of their graciousness many times, and I am sure yours has too. The Radabaughs have organized fundraisers for families facing the challenges of cancer, raised money for the food pantry, helped feed the homeless, been available for babysitting, made hundreds of meals for families going through trials in life or welcoming a new bundle of joy into their family, and catered special dinners and weddings, just to help. This list could go on and on…… but I think you get the picture. They give and do not stop giving.
Tuesday, September 1st, was probably a normal day for most of you, but for the Radabaugh family, it was the beginning of a new chapter. Mysie began having severe flu-like symptoms, which landed her in the Santa Ynez Hospital. After further testing, it was discovered that Mysie had had a stroke. It was then decided to send her to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara. A team of six doctors immediately started many tests, physical therapy, and speech therapy. As you all know, Mysie gives 110% at everything she does, and this occasion was not any different. With God’s strength, she pushed herself through all of the therapy sessions and was released Friday, September 4th. This does not mean the journey is over. It just means she is at home recuperating with the love and care of family and friends. In all actuality, this journey is just beginning. There are many doctor visits with specialists to come and possible procedures that still may need to be done.
Why have we started a fund? The Radabaughs are a family of nine with seven still dwelling in the family abode. Greg and Mysie as a team work tirelessly to provide for their family’s needs. Now, with the added pressure of medical expenses, which are just beginning, and the absence of Mysie’s income; I believe it is our opportunity to bless the socks off this family!!!
Please cover the Radabaugh family in prayers and if you are feeling led to give, “THANK YOU!”
GOD BLESS
