Help save Big Mac

Hi , my name is Georgina and I’m fundraising for our Big Mac.

On Sunday we took Big Mac to our local vets as he was drinking a ridiculous amount of water. Before taking him we was sure it must of been a urine infection. On seeing the vet they carried out some tests including a blood test and urine sample and was told to wait 3 days for the results.
when Big Mac returned home from the vets he really didn’t seem himself and started refusing to eat a thing. I called the vets first thing as was told to start him on some antibiotics because the blood and urine results still wasn’t back but was most likely an infection. Over the next 2 days waiting for results Big Mac started to get progressively worse. Finally we received results back on Wednesday and the vet explained that he most likely had an acute kidney injury but would need a scan to have a look and see the extent. They quoted us over £1000 to do a scan however they couldn’t fit us in until the next day. I decided to shop around at some other vets to see if any could fit in in right away to prevent it getting any worse and I managed to find one.

When I got into to see the vet he examined Big Mac checking his lymph nodes and he noticed they were all quite enlarged and decided to take a blood sample from one.
He then gave me the worst possible news I could of ever heard. He confirmed that Big Mac had cancer and possibly has between 1-3 months of life left unless extensive treatment was given by a specialist but it would be very costly.
My heart absolutely shattered, our lovely boy is just 2 years old why has this happened to him. He is our absolute world and the children are devastated , we just can’t imagine life without him around , slobbering all over our clothes, nicking our slippers, he’s little face and waggy tail in the morning when he sees us, and the best cuddles everyday. It just wouldn’t be the same without him.
We can’t give up on him, there are specialists out there that can offer chemotherapy to try and give him a better chance at life.
the vet said this kind of treatment can cost around £6000 or even more which with 3 children is just impossible for us right now.
Anyone that knows me knows how much he means to me and all of us.

So I’m asking if anyone can help no matter how small to give this boy a chance would mean so much to all of us.
