Fred Murphy "Heart" Fund

On behalf of my step brother, Eric (Tracy)...my step sister Shauna (Chris) and myself we are starting a fund for our father Fred. It's very emotional for me to write this as I have supported many funds, organizations and those who needed help over the years....this incredible man who you may or not have had the pleasure of meeting has always loved and helped or supported from his heart! The most ironic part of this statement is that the heart he showed us all who have had the honour of knowing him, whether in business, life or simple encounters, is only functioning at 10% capacity right now. He was working in Moncton, NB when he was at his hotel and having chest pains...as positive as he is...he got up in the morning and drove almost 3 hours home to the nearest hospital. He had suffered a massive heart attack, the days after for him and our family have been very "heart wrenching "....I'm sorry if this is a long post but those who know us will understand the depth of this....we almost lost him yesterday. His heart is obviously so weak, and he passed out...they had to preform CPR on him and shock his heart, breaking his ribs in the process. He has loved my mother deeply, supported my brother and I as if we were his own, has given me a wonderful brother and sister whom have incredible partners in their lives...and I've been blessed with many nieces and nephews that I honestly wouldn't have enriching my life had it not been for the love he's shown my mother.....Although all of our faith has been challenged, and the days appear very dark lately we can't give up on the most loving, encouraging, hardworking, positive man we know! He's likely not going to return to work unless a small miracle, and miracles are possible, happen! I never thought I'd be in a position asking for help, whether it's only $1, for people we love and cherish so much! Fred was a hard worker and their income together kept them going...Thank you in advance from our family for anything you chose to donate! If you haven't met him, I really wish you had... as he has certainly impacted all of the lives he has crossed, and he loves his wife, children and 13 grandchildren dearly❤️
