Send Benjamin to the CdLS Conference

In June 2008 when Benjamin was two years old we attended our first Cornelia deLange Syndrome National Conference put on by the CdLS Foundation in Chicago. The opportunity to meet with doctors, therapists and other families with children with CdLS was invaluable. We are planning to attend the conference in California this year to learn about new research, meet with doctors prior to Benjamin's foot surgery this summer, and gain insights from speech, occupational, and physical therapists. For Benjamin the chance to be with other children who look like him and act like him (the behaviors our kids have in common always intrigues us) is a unique experience that makes him so happy. His little brother, Noah, will have a chance to meet siblings and make new friends.

We are so fortunate to have help from family with some of the costs related to getting out to California, but the hotel and conference fees still pose a financial challenge for us.
