On September 21, 2018, we lost our loving brother, father, partner, friend, family member, coach and teammate Michael Stagg. Mike was diagnosed with a rare form of A.L.S. and dementia in July 2017. Mike stayed strong and battled the debilitating disease as long as he could, but passed peacefully in the presence of his loved ones. Mike had just turned 41 earlier in September, and he leaves behind his partner Ashley McCaffery and their 2 year old daughter Ella Grace Stagg. A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held at the Greenfield Park Legion in Wednesday October 10, from 7pm to 10 pm. In memoriam of Michael, donations are being accepted on behalf of his daughter Ella's education fund, to ensure that she gets a good headstart on her future. The Stagg family is very grateful to all of Michael's friends, former teammates, coaches, players and former co-workers who have reached out with their condolences and well wishes during this time, and would like to again say thank you for your support at this time.
