Help Our Paint Friend, Bubby

Please consider helping heal Bubby He was found on the side of the road on North Lewis and Apache with a massive injury to his leg. Including a severed Extensor Tendon even saw marks on the bone from pulling away from what ever he got stuck in. Tulsa Animal Welfare picked him up. No owner claimed him. (Which in normal situations he would have gone to the sale barn and be sold at public auction-which we all m ow what would have happened) They were kind enough to him to let Jeff and Lindsay Henry foster Bubby while he recovers. The Henry’s Veterinarian’s have come up with an amazing pulley system bandage that is acting as the Extensor Tendon so his hoof doesn’t flop around. It’s working great. Will have to stay in this bandage for a minimum of 6 months. He is having another surgery on 10/31/2018 to remove the dead bone. So far this is our first set back. We thought it might happen since there was several inches of bone exposed for several days with out treatment. The Veterinarians have high hopes that with strict diligent care Bubby will be able to walk with out the aid of a pulley system!
