I am in need of a kidney transplant and will need to pay out-of-pocket for medications that insurance will not cover.  I was informed by the Mayo Clinic that I'll need to fund raise the first $2000 before the surgery and the other $3000 is to cover costs after insurance stops paying for medications and I go into the 'donut hole'.  If I am unable to show access to these funds, I will not be allowed to have the surgery.  I have stage 5 kidney failure due to long-term diabetes.  Without these funds, I will have to spend my life on dialysis.  If everyone would please share with your Facebook friends, my message will get out there.  If you can give just a dollar, any amount will be appreciated and helpful.
