A brief story about me: My name is Bev, I work as an OR nurse and am married to Jason for 20 years this year. It took Jason and I 8 years to have a baby, and now we are blessed with Leila , who will be 10 in april and Jesse who is 6. Our dream come true. I felt blessed to have my dad alive when i did become pregnant and gave birth to my miracle first baby but he died from ALS just before she turned 2 . He was only 61. My mother who has been everything to me was diagnosed with stage 4 leiomyosarcoma in Oct of 2016, I am grateful she is still here and will turn 70 in march. When my daughter was 8 months old my husband was laid off from the company he had worked for 20 years so we made the family decision to have him stay home to care for our daughter and subsequently our son. My son started kindergarden this year and Jason was going to look for work when he was diagnosed with stage 4 esphogeal cancer. So I found myself in a worst case scenario. Work, care for my mom , my husband and my 2 young children. I am the only income and have bills piling up and cannot afford anything extra such as extracurricular activities, vacation or a newer car. Any money donated would be used to cover the numerous medical bills from last and this year. We are so very grateful for any donation. Having never needed financial help in the past, it is very hard to tell my story and ask for help. Thank you to everyone, we are immensly grateful.
