The Smith Family House Fire

My parents (Preston & Heather Smith) and my four siblings were in a devestating house fire early morning on January 12, 2024. Praise God, the six of them, and their dogs, are all safe and healthy! As most know my mother is blind, I am BEYOND grateful my siblings were home due to bad weather and were able to get her out safely! Unfortunately, their beloved cat Salem was unable to escape and has passed away.

It will be a long, hard road for them to get back on their feet. My parents have three young boys, 8, 8, and 5 years old, and one younger daughter 12. They have lost just about everything; only being able to salvage very few items. One of those items, praise the lord, was my brother’s ashes.

They have been through so much in the last few years, from losing a child, my 7 year old brother Preston, to now losing their home.

I know these are hard times that we are living in but I ask if anyone is able to assist in any way (even just sharing the link), please do, to help them get the essentials they need and to help them while they navigate the difficult process in the days and weeks to come. ♥️
