The Brennan Cassidy Family Fund

My name is Dave Dickens. In November of 2017 my father passed away . He had dementia and Other health issues . Current Varsity Baseball Coach for the Mount Miguel High School Matadors, Frank Coit set up a page like this for my father. I thought about this family when I heard the news that Brennan had a brain tumor. He had it removed and has had different complications since. I met Brennan last year as he was the Head Coach of the Varsity Basketball team, The Helix High School Highlanders. I had many interviews with this man who is my age. I pondered, this could have happen to me or anyone I know and love. I’ve been fortunate to meet such a great man, Coach, Stepfather, friend, teacher, son, and husband . I consider him and all Coaches and players alike a part of the family. He had just taken over last season as the Head Coach, replacing longtime, legendary Head Coach, John Singer, who has had his own health compromised. My father, Bill Dickens, loved the East County sports community and so do I. Therefore I ask that all of you, that know Brennan and his loving wife Wendy, or even if you don’t , we all have loved ones this has or could happen to. I’m asking that you all reach into your heart and donate whatever you can. No one in the family asked for this to be done, but I believe it’s the right thing to do, I know that Wendy and Brennan would be grateful as healthcare for things like this can be such a burden on a family in this situation .
