This fund is created as a support system for the family of Emma and Garrett McDaniel for expenses incurred due to a tragic vehicle accident. While traveling to school, Emma (17) lost control of her car which resulted in her passing. Garrett (11) was airlifted to the Trauma Center. He has sustained serious injuries including multiple broken bones (arm, both wrists, pelvis in two places, leg in two places) and paralysis (hopefully only temporary). Garrett has undergone 3 surgeries that placed numerous pins, screws, plates, and a titanium rod.
This family has been faced with the devasting loss of a beautiful, kind, loving young woman along with the mounding medical expenses for the care of her brother. Not only with his current hospital stay but with the future recovery and rehabilitation. Garrett is a kind-hearted, energetic, Xbox loving boy with an amazing sense of humor. Our hopes with this fund is to help relieve some of the financial burden in order to focus on Garrett’s complete and speedy recovery.
The family also thanks you so much for all the outpouring amount of love and support. They currently have no estimate on the amount of medical expenses but plan to pay it forward. Any funds not used will be further donated to the charities and organizations that have supported them during this time of need.
