Lily’s emergency medical bills

Beverly & I spoke this morning & sadly Lily did not make it through the night, she had sustained too many injuries. Thank you to all those who have donated & continue to give. Bev will still have to cover vet fees (she paid $1000. up front) & now cremation costs. She said she would donate any surplus to the animal shelter.

I’m asking for donations for my dear friend Beverly’s dog Lily who was attacked by two pit bulls today. The following is Beverly’s FB post:

I'm asking for prayers and positive energy for my little Bichon dog Lily. This morning as we were finishing up our daily walk, about 2 blocks from my house, two huge pit bull dogs dashed out of the house across the street from where we were, pounced on Lily and mauled her horribly. She was nonresponsive and bleeding all over when I rushed her to the vet. Right now she's at Countryside Vet Clinic in extremely critical condition. She's on IVs in an oxygen box, being kept totally sedated until she's strong enough for x-rays and further testing. I'm at home now and will be allowed to visit her in the morning. I'm heartbroken for all she's going through. As I go to bed tonight there will be no Lily in her bed beside me. Why is life so hard?
