Help For Chip

Chip is a Bartender at McCormick & Schmick’s Harborside at The Marina in downtown Portland. Chip had just gotten off the bus after work during the recent ice/snow storm and slipped on the ice walking back to his home and broke his leg in two places requiring surgery and rehabilitation. We his coworkers have started this fund to help Chip financially while he heals and until he is able to return to work. Chip is an amazing person. He is one of those guys that will give you shirt off his back, and then ask you if you need shoes also. He is quick with a smile and a kind word when you need it. He also tells horrible jokes and can’t sing worth a crap, but he loves “Big” and his heart is the open to all. Chip is a responsible guy he had a little money saved up, but it’s basically gone with the medical bills that will be hitting him soon and no source of income coming in. We are asking the community to help us with Chip until he is literally back on his feet again.
