Our family never thought we would be here. In 2007 we bought a house and we faithfully made our payments. In 2010 there was a job loss and we limped along but fell a little behind. In 2011 there was a terminally ill parent who then passed. In 2012 another job loss and then another in 2013. We qualified for a program through our mortgage company for a reduction. We paid faithfully but then in November a date was mistaken and the payment was 4 days late. We have been dropped from the program and face foreclosure. We now have to pay the reduced amount back and all of the areas where we fell behind by Dec.12. If 450 people give 20 dollars or 1650 give 5 dollars or 8500 people give 1 dollar we will meet our goal. If you can give we are grateful. If you can't we understand.
