Matthew Smith has been a long standing member of the business community for 20+ years. During his time as a small business owner of Impressions Creative, he set up The Geelong Small Business Network (GSBN) where he has served the business community of Geelong and surrounds with humility, and unwavering dedication. Many of us owe our success and connections to Matthew and his hard work.
Matthew has recently been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and both he and his lovely wife Tammy, who is also self-employed, have had to put their jobs on hold in order to focus on pain management and their remaining time together.
Matthew and Tammy have served and given so much to the Geelong community, particularly those of us in business, and it is now time for us to give back.
Times are financially tough for all right now, and I would hate for anyone to put themselves in to a difficult financial position through this go-fund-me. However, I do ask, that if Matthew and Tammy have had any impact on your life, whether through friendship, through GSBN or just because you know how they have selflessly served others, I would ask that you consider making a financial contribution towards their current and ongoing bills and making memories together.
Thank you
**Update**
On Friday 14th June, Matthew passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. This Go-fund-me, is continuing in the hopes that we can support Matthew's wife Tammy in her time of grief. Tammy, like Matthew, is self-employed and we know that Matthew would want nothing more than to see his beloved wife supported in his absence. Please continue to give as best as you can. It will go a long way.
Thank you
