Jesse Gomez Travel Ball Expenses

Jesse Gomez has had a tough life growing up in Modesto’s Airport Neighborhood. But you wouldn’t know it by hanging out with him. Jesse, who is being raised by his grampa, is a heck of a kid with a sad story. Not only is he an elite Baseball player but comes with a great attitude to the ballpark everyday, regardless of what is going on with his personal life struggles. Jesse and his Grampa have had it tough... Moving from place to place, living in garages, sheds, and at times staying at the Mission. They struggle to find a place to live and at times have been homeless. His Papa has raised him since he was a toddler and loves him with all his heart. For the past 5 years I have been his coach and mentor on and off the field. I have personally and through the help of friends, family, and sponsors, helped pay for his Baseball needs. After 23 years of running the Flyers Baseball program in Modestos' Airport Neighborhood, I decided to hang it up. I vowed to take Jesse with me to into the world of Travel Baseball and I want to ensure that he is taken care of and continues to play. As many know it is expensive for family to pay for travel ball and I want to ensure that he keeps playing and has some money in an account to pay for fees, meals and anything he needs while playing in tournaments. This kid has become an elite player in the travel Baseball world and plays with fire and desire! Keep Jesse playing!!
