Hello dearest friends and family!

As a teacher and single mom, I am used to finding ways to make ends meet and make situations better. Over the last month, however, I have found myself on a very difficult and unfamiliar journey. After a few doctor visits, a trip to the ER, and a full panel of bloodwork, I finally received an answer today. I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and referred to a specialist for further treatment. I am incredibly thankful to finally know what is happening and eager to begin the recovery process. Unfortunately, I had to take some unpaid time off of work and accrued a few unexpected medical expenses as well. As hard as this is for me to do, I would truly appreciate any help you may be able to offer during this time. I will continue to provide updates on my situation in the next few weeks.
