Wife Needs A "Portable" Power Chair

My wife needs a "portable" power chair that we will be able to transport in our current vehicle. We've considered the possibility of buying a handicapped van, but simply can't afford the $30 to $40 thousand dollar cost that this type of van would cost. After more research, we've found a much more cost effective solution. For only $1999.00, we can purchase a portable power wheelchair, that can be folded and easily transported in our current vehicle. Having a portable power chair would give my wife, Eileen, much more freedom and the ability for her to have more mobility when we are places outside of our home (grocery shopping, clothes shopping, church services, etc.) The truth is, we don't have $1999.00 to buy this chair.
