Stacee's Colonoscopy

Stacee is my best friend. She is also a wife, and a mom to two kiddos, Kolby,8 and Kloee, 5. She has been sick for about a year with awful stomach pain, and intestinal problems. Recently she was hospitalized due to this, and NPMC thought it was her gallbladder, so they removed it. It did not fix the problems she's having, in fact made things worse. She discharged from NPMC with instruction to see a GI doc and to get a colonoscopy done.
Stacee sought a second opinion at UAMS this past weekend. They as well said she needs to seek treatment from a GI doctor.
The problem is she is a cash payment patient...and is already 45k in debt due to her 2 week stay at NPMC and surgery.
So she has been speaking with Dr. Terri Blackstock in Hot Springs, and she needs the $1500 fee before the colonoscopy will be performed due to Stacee not having insurance.


Stacee was 15 days away from being eligible for insurance at her new job when all this hit. She was let go from her job due to her extended hospital stay. She continues to lose weight (already 25 lbs) due to her inability to eat and loss of fluids daily. If I could get 150 people to give $10, we could have this covered quickly, and begin to get answers for this. Even if you can give $5, I would greatly appreciate it. Please help me help my friend. She has two little babies that need her more than anything in this world...
