Horse Rescue Needs A New Home
We are the Shenandoah valley equine rescue network. We are a 501(c)3 dedicated to the rehabilitation and rehoming of abused and neglected horses. Our current home is being sold out from under us and we are in desperate need of a new farm. We have found a benefactor who is willing to let us use their land at no cost but we must make substantial improvements. The estimated cost of adequate fencing and structural improvements is $20,000 minimum. Please help us save this valuable resource for the valley. In the last year we have accepted 7 horses 4 of which were seized by the sheriff because of the severe neglect and abuse. If not for the existence of this resue these animals would have been at risk of going to auction and could have eventually ended up being slaughtered for consumption. Any donation will help.
