Help Kalea with her Battle against Cancer
One week ago my beautiful friend was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. This came as a huge shock, as she is a bubbly, outgoing wonderful 29 year old woman with two young daughters.
Last week she went to emergency complaining of pain in her lower left rib cage and trouble sleeping. Luckily the doctors did a thorough exam and found a mass on her spleen. After Biopsy is was discovered to be cancer and has also spread from her spleen to the lymph nodes in her heart, lungs and liver. At this time Kalea is awaiting results from a bone marrow biopsy to see if the cancer has spread to her bones. She is set to start Chemo Next week.
Everyone who knows Kalea would tell you what a wonderful person she is, how hard working and determined and how much joy she brings to our lives. Last year she finished her Medical Office Assistant Diploma, while working 2 jobs and raising two kids. This woman is a super hero, who is able to admit she needs some help. Every cent raised will go to Kalea to help with living expenses, bills, daycare for her daughters, food and medical bills as they come up.
Let’s give her our support so she has a fighting chance to beat cancer, get healthy and strong, and be around for her wonderful daughters.
