Hello!
We are so fortunate to be a part of the Morristown community- not only am I a business owner here, but also a proud resident. I love the fact that Morristown is made up of so many small businesses and I really think that is the magic here. It is not about the businesses, but the people behind them that I have gotten to know over the past six years, many of which I can call friends. I pride myself in supporting many of the local businesses from ordering take out, grabbing a cup of coffee, stopping for a carwash, having a cocktail or getting a bottle of wine, or taking a local yoga class.
The future is so uncertain for all of us- with only being able to operate a restaurant at 25% capacity and a 10pm curfew may not be sustainable through the winter. I do not want to have to lay off the entire staff for a second time this year, because they all depend on this job to support themselves and their families. That is why we hustle so hard. The people who I work with here are the heart +soul of south+pine and I will stay open for as long as I can to support them.
I am not sure that we will need to use this money for rent, but I give you all my word, if I do not need to use it, I will gladly donate it to another business or to a local charity. Your support has kept us in business and we are indebted to you for your kindness and generosity.
I love you, Morristown.
