Help for baby Kingston

Four of my best friends are about to embark on the first of many trips to BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. People have reached out because they want to help and I would like to create a place we can do just that. My hope is this may ease some of the financial pressure associated with both Marisa and Ryan's time off work to be at Kingston’s side.

Kingston was born with a complex, rare congenital anomaly called Bladder Exstrophy. This took Ryan and Marisa by surprise as it was not known before he was born. He will require many surgeries in the coming years. His first is on March 23 and he will need to be in the hospital for 5-6 weeks to recover. Ryan, Marisa and Kingston's big brother River will be spending this time in Vancouver, staying between the hospital and Ronald McDonald house. Kingston's next big surgery will be before his second birthday.

I know how much this family appreciates all the love and support from their family and friends during this difficult time. The money we raise will be used to support them throughout their journey.
