Ashley De Leon is a 33 year old single mother of two children. Her son, Rylee, who is 12, and involved with extracurricular activities at his intermediate school and her daughter, Isabel, who is 9, and participates in local sports, staying active in their community. Ashely is very supportive of her kids in their activities and always there cheering them on as well as helping out in any way she can.

On December 3rd, 2018 Ashley was in the comfort of her own home when her house tragically caught on fire and destroyed most of their family’s possessions. During this difficult time of dealing with her new diagnosis and loss of her home, her beloved family, friends and even some businesses were eager to step in and help the DeLeon family get back on their feet and power through this together.

After being on a new chemo drug for the second time since late December 2019, in early January 2020, her body was showing complications from the chemo. She was admitted into the hospital for what was supposed to be a night for observations, that turned into a 4 day stay with yet another different chemotherapy trial. Ashley was then discharged and sent home to continue her treatment while in the meantime the doctor’s office was vigilant on finding Ashley a bone marrow donor.
On March 10th, 2020, Ashley got the call that was going to change her life yet once again and the doctor’s office had found a match for her donor and she couldn’t have been more excited! The date of the transplant is now officially set for later in May 2020 with intense chemotherapy prior to that date and she will endure more trials ahead. With the transplant, Ashley will be out of work for quiet some time for recovery and her friends and family are making it possible to help relieve their financial burdens during this hardship. Ashley is such a humble, selfless person with such a giving heart that she always puts others before herself. We want to make sure that while Ashley is in the hospital after the transplant and after she comes home to recover that her kids will be able to be comforted with her family, knowing that the financial burdens aren’t being weighed heavily on their shoulders. Please send prayers during this next journey in life for the DeLeon family and if you are able to help in any financial way, please donate (anything and everything helps). Thank you so much for your consideration. Please pass this on to others you think would help.
