The Owen Family needs your HELP!

A veteran and his family need your help. We've fallen on hard times in the last year after our move to Vermont. As most of you know, we moved here to have a better quality of life. Unfortunately, that has come with a price. I started to incur many medical bills with the health problems I was facing at the beginning of 2013. I saw doctor after doctor and finally found a Rheumatologist who diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia and Hyper Mobility Syndrome. Both of them very debilitating. In addition to these diagnoses, I also found out that I had an incisional hernia (from 3 c-sections). For those of you that know me, you can imagine the healing that started to unfold. I was scheduled for hernia repair surgery on July 23, 2013. Minutes before surgery, we found out that we are expecting our 4th child. A ton of mixed emotions followed. I was happy with the blessing that was given to me, but my history of Hyperemesis Gravidarum in all three of my previous pregnancies scared me to death. I am now 17 weeks pregnant and suffering from all these ailments. We do have better insurance now, but our medical bills top more than $5k.

To make matters worse, we looked into having our propane heat (which is insanely expensive in Vermont) switched over to wood for the winter. It will cost nearly $5K. We are no were near prepared to pay for this considering the move we made and my medical bills.

I'm not usually the type of person to reach out and ask, but we are trying to make this work and provide for our children. Obviously, I cannot work. We have exhausted our means and need your help. Thanks for reading.
