Victory for Vicky

Dear Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As many of you may know, last September our beloved Vicky Meyer was shockingly diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer which has metastasized to her lungs. She immediately began conventional treatment which has produced mixed results thus far, but we are not and will not lose hope for her!! 

After much research and deliberation, Vicky has begun an integrative treatment program in Chicago in efforts to improve her quality of life while she fights this devastating disease.

Unfortunately, certain aspects of this treatment are not covered by insurance, and it will require Vicky to travel to Chicago biweekly for 2 days of treatment for the foreseeable future. We are estimating the out of pocket cost of this treatment will be in excess of $25,000. 

It was our hope to host a fundraising benefit for Vicky to help her offset some of the costs associated with her treatment, but unfortunately due to the COVID pandemic we are unable to do so.  

In lieu of hosting an event, we have created this page and fund to ask for help from anyone who can assist and contribute to securing the funding necessary to provide Vicky with the best treatment available (for anyone who knows her, knows that SHE of all people is worth it!)

Anything you can give to help Vicky, or simply helping to spread the word by sharing this fundraiser, will be appreciated more than you know. Let's help make Vicky VICTORIOUS!!!
