Surving Suicide Together

My name is Charlie and my dream is to end suicide. As a survivor of a suicide attempt, I have seen first hand what pain and suffering suicide causes a spouse, children, Mom, Dad, brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. The chances of a child attempting suicide sky rockets after a parent has attempted. This is trend that we must halt. “Why???” and “Was it something I did?” are common questions. We must let loved ones know they are not at fault. I want to build a retreat in the Texas Hill Country where families can spend time with other families learning about mental illness and to deal with the trauma of suicide. A place families can go after a suicide event and know they are loved. This is going to be an enormous undertaking but together we can do it. Thank You Charlie
