Mason's Liver Transplant Fund
Donation protected
Mason Minnier, 13, was born with a liver disorder known as Alpha One Antitrypsin Deficiency. Though he has had few difficulties throughout his life, in the past year Mason began experiencing several symptoms that indicated his liver function was decreasing.
His health reached a critical point this summer, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHoP), where he has doctored since infancy, placed him on a liver transplant list.
In August, Mason's liver transplant was successfully performed at CHoP. Mason's recovery has been steady and very encouraging. His family is extremely grateful for the support and love that has been shown to them throughout this process.
Mason spent a week at CHoP, now travels there once a week for testing, and is on several medications.
This fund has been established to help Mason's family with the costs associsted with the surgery and continuing care.
Mason is the son of Timbi Boatman Busch, and Jeremy Minnier. Grandparents are Bill and Shirley Boatman, Joann Dailey, and Scott Minnier.
Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
