We are a grassroots group of individuals giving to those in need. We have hired a food truck to prepare 150 hot lunches for unhoused individuals in Fort Lauderdale on Christmas Eve 2022. We will also provide each person with a care package that includes a thermal blanket, socks and other needed items. Funds are required in order to achieve this goal.

This initiative started in 2019 as a small effort to brighten the holidays for a few unhoused individuals. That year, we gave out 27 meal packages in and around Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The following year (2020), we got more donors helping and tripled our holiday food bags. In 2021 we gave out 150 hygiene packages that included an asked-for item – socks- along with various food, snacks and water (see the picture in the post).

Our goal is to be able to help more than once a year and in other parts of the Tri-County area. Any amount will be helpful.
