Brad needs our help

Donation protected
Some of you may know that Brad was physically assaulted on Sunday November 14 at a grocery store in Sherwood Park. As a result he suffered broken kneecaps as well as severed tendons. Thank goodness for the kind souls who went to Brad’s aid, and to one brave woman who ran after the attacker in an attempt to get a license plate number.
Brad was rushed to hospital and had to undergo emergency surgery the next day on both knees. He will now not be mobile for 6 to 8 weeks.
Some of you may also know that Brad has spent years dealing with some serious health issues, one of which from his severe diabetes required a partial foot amputation, just a year ago. For these reasons, this horrendous, unprovoked and random attack is even more heartbreaking.
Brad has not being able to work other than a few temporary jobs over this past couple of years. He had a temporary Christmas job lined up with the Salvation Army, sitting at one of their donation stations for Christmas. Now he will be unable to do this work which is much needed. His wife Michele is the sole income earner but now will have to take time off to care for him as he recovers from this ordeal. Therefore this Go Fund Me is to relieve any financial stress that Brad and Michele may have while he recovers.

Brad has been an upstanding, contributing member of the Sherwood Park community for over 20 years. Lots of you know him from his football coaching days, as the coach of the Wolverines and subsequently the team at Bev Facey. Maybe he coached your kid, or maybe you were coached by him. Please dig deep to show your appreciation for all he has done, and to give him and Michele a lift of their spirits during this very tough time.
