My mother Robin, was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. After my mother's first Chemotherapy treatment, her immune system was wiped out. My mother developed an infection in her GI tract called Diverticulitis. The infection became so severe; the doctors had to remove 16 inches of her intestine. During the time of this surgery, the doctors also removed the tumor in my mother's breast. During Robin's second Chemotherapy treatment, she became septic from an infection that had built up in her bloodstream from the tumor removal. Robin has spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital throughout the past few months. We are asking for donations to assist my mother with her portion of the hospital bills.
