Help Devin Reach the Stars

My son Devin has wanted to be a film director since he was 7 years old. Ever since then, he has been creating amazing short videos on his own using whatever video equipment he could get his hands on. The video above is one he did last year - he taught himself the basics of split-screen for this one. The test video below was produced using his smartphone! It is not nearly his best, but it does give an idea of what he is experimenting with and what he is capable of producing.

Because Devin struggles with ADHD, a reading disability and a mild social phobia, he has always had difficulty in school. In spite of this, he has enrolled in the Film School at Scottsdale Community College where he will get hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment doing the stuff that he loves. This semester, he will be taking part in various stages of six productions including his own short movie which he will write, produce and direct. However, the cost to rent equipment, design and build sets, feed his crew and everything else that goes into making a film far exceeds his student loan and has really discouraged him.

There is so much that Devin wants to accomplish and I will do everything in my power to help him succeed - but our family budget is stretched as far as it will go. Devin shows so much talent and promise. Please help me show him that dreams can come true and that he should never give up on himself or the things he wants to achieve.
