ALS Wheelchair Vehicle For Caroline

Hello friends,As many of you are aware, my precious mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with a rare disease called ALS. Also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, it attacks certain cells in the brain and spinal cord needed to keep our muscles moving. There are currently no effective treatments for this devastating and fatal disease . Caroline has been a real trooper this past year since her diagnosis, however, the disease has now progressed far enough to the point where she is no longer independently mobile. We are planning on purchasing a minivan with a handicap ramp that will allow her to be transported back and forth to her doctor appointments. Many friends and family members have conveyed their desire to help lighten the load of this heavy burden. One way that this can be done is through the compassionate heart of giving.
