Dick Higgins, Music 4 Trumpets and Trees

Summer is coming to an end and I know how busy you are preparing for the new season. I want to involve you in an interesting new project that marks this change. I am raising a modest, but necessary, budget for a recording of music by Fluxus composer, Dick Higgins. The piece is called Music for Trumpets and Trees. Music for Trumpets and Trees gives us a rare opportunity to experience music in an exciting and imaginative way through new music performed outdoors. When the arts successfully open doors to our experience of the natural world through new sensory pathways, bridges are built between people and nature.
