4Be the Vessel that God uses to show Ek & Bea His Love and Faithfulness. They have both been FAITHFUL Prison Ministry Volunteers. Here is their story:
On Friday August 8, 2013 Ek Cayabyab was admitted to the hospital where the doctors found a tumor in his brain. He was then scheduled for Brain Surgery on Monday August 12, 2013 which by God's Grace and many prayers it was a successful surgery.
The pathology report came back on Friday August 16 and Ek has a rare form of Brain Cancer which is Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) is the most common and deadliest of malignant primary brain tumors in adults and is one of a group of tumors referred to as gliomas.
Ek has been on unemployment since June however he was offered a job a few days before he entered into the hospital. He will have to start treatments as soon as possible to prevent the Cancer from coming back. That means at this time he can not work and they have rent coming up September 1 of $1400 and bills to pay.
Anything that you can give will be a Blessing to them and their family. This is what it truly means when the Bible says:
Galatians 6:2 New International Version (NIV)
2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Thank you,
The Rock Church Prison Ministry Family
