Manuela.South Africa. Study Abroad!

Hi this is Manuela! Studying abroad in South Africa this summer is a huge dream of mine. To achieve this goal I have worked diligently and have gathered most funds from scholarships and my own savings. However, I am still missing $2,000 for my academic program in the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. I would really appreciate your support at this time. A little more about me: I have created my own major in Social Justice Through the Performing Arts. Studying in South Africa would be a very enriching experience for me as an artist, activist and student. At the Nelson Mandela University I will be taking two courses: South African language, culture and history as well as community service based learning. As part of the program, I will be able to teach children from the local community and use dance and theater in my teaching methods. I am thrilled to build new friendships, learn about South African culture and fully immerse myself in a whole new world! I have until the last week of June so I am extremely grateful for any and all support! Thank you once again.
