Port DawgsAnother family member is in need...BIG TIME...MSgt Robert Hernandez's wife Lynne is battling Cancer AGAIN!!!Originally she beat cancers ass and was in remission. Now she has TWO tumors! One in her lung and one in her esophagus. The one that's wreaking havoc is the esophageal tumor. It is creating a blockage and she is unable to eat due to food not passing. She has lost an extreme amount of weight and gets dehydrated easily. She recently had a port (permanent IV access) placed so she can have continuous nutrition infused and fluids so she can get discharged and stay out of the hospital. Rob has been by her side thru all of her testing, treatments and now this hospitalization. She's been in the hospital for the last week and in order for her to go home, they need help.She'll require in home nursing care to administer her nutrition. The upfront fee just to get this started is $495. AFTER the insurance pays their portion, this will cost Rob and Lynne $130 a day (co-pay) out of their own pocket (INDEFINITELY). We all know Retired MSgt's don't make that kind of money.They are always thinking of others even though they are dealing with their own trials. Everyone knows that Rob and Lynne would give the shirt off their back...here's our chance to lend a hand!!
