On September 1, 2018 David had gotten into a terrible car accident. He was driving home and lost control of his vehicle going through a ditch and after hit a tree. His vehicle was totalled and he was airlifted from the scene to Oaklawn Advocate Christ Medical Center. There he recieved care that saved his life, however with treatment comes lots of bills and we want to make sure David has a speedy recovery and the least amount of stress and worry as possible. We are so entirely grateful and thankful that David is here with us today and we appreciate all of the love and prayers we have recieved as well. David had broken both scapula (shoulder blades), a rib, his femur in multiple places, and femoral neck on his left leg which they had to place in traction before performing surgery 2 days later. He has multiple lacerations on his extremities and also a pneumothorax (collapsed lung) on his right side which required a chest tube. He also has suffered from a head injury resulting in multiple brain bleeds which thankfully have not worsened since. He is currently in the STICU and is hoping to be released to the trauma floor at some point soon in the next week. He is going to require lots of physical therapy and will be off of work until he is physically capable of doing so. Anything can/will help him on his road to recovery and again we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for keeping David in your thoughts and prayers. ❤❤
