Raise money to get my dog surgery.

Hi my name is Michael, and I am 11 years old, and recently my dog was diagnosed with cancer. My dog's name is Penguin and she is only 4.5 years old. Her kind of cancer is called Mast Cell Cancer. It has become worse, and she may only have a few months left to live unless we can raise the money to get surgery to remove her tumor. We learned that surgery could cost $4,000 and the chemotherapy she needs could be another $4,500. Unless we can raise the money for surgery, we can only afford to give her pills to slow the spread. The doctor says she will probably live 4 to 6 months with the medicine.

She is the love of my life and has helped me through very difficult parts of my life. Losing her will be the biggest loss of my life. Because of this, I would like to raise the money to get her surgery to postpone her death as long as possible. When we first got her I was not very excited. As time went on I loved her more and more. We went from me petting her a few times a day to her sleeping with me every single night and me giving her attention as much as I can. My mom says she waits by the door when it gets close to time to pick us up from school. She helps me calm down when I am sad or mad, and keeps me from being depressed sometimes. She is just so happy and loving. She only wants to snuggle and play all the time. I cannot afford to lose her. In the past month, we have already lost 2 chickens to an attack. Go back about 2 years and we unexpectedly lost 2 chickens and had to sell two more due to them being roosters (roosters are prohibited in Denver) around the same time, I also lost my grandfather and 6 baby rabbits for no apparent cause. I was so sad. Out of all pets I have ever owned, Penguin is the one I love most. Losing her means losing the one I love most in life.

Please help me and my family do whatever we can to try to save our doggo. We love her so so much.
