Send Dreher Drama to Nationals

Once again, students in the Dreher Drama Department have demonstrated their exceptional abilities and work ethic by qualifying for the International Thespian Festival in Bloomington, Indiana. Dreher had 11 students qualify in such events as Solo Musical, Solo Acting, Duet Acting, Group Acting, Makeup Design and Musical Theatre Dance. This is an outstanding achievement and a great honor for the students who were chosen.

In order to send the qualifying students to Indiana this summer, we are asking for donations. The trip costs approximately $1500/person, and all donations will go directly toward covering travel expenses. This trip is a once in a lifetime experience, in which students will get to work with Broadway performers, network with college and university programs, and attend high quality performances. They will also have the opportunity to represent the state of South Carolina by competing with their events at the national level.

Your donation will truly help the students of Dreher High School to have an amazing educational experience, to gain new learning and skills, and to build lifelong relationships with students from across the country. They will bring their new expertise back to Dreher High School and share with the student body, helping to continue Dreher’s tradition of excellence in the performing arts.
