Help Brian (Papa C) Carey!

In early February, our dad suffered a stroke.  The stroke affected his speech, comprehension, and his right arm and hand.  Over the past 3 months, he has had made some improvements, however he has not been able to return home.  While his speech and comprehension have improved, we are hopeful for additional progress.  His right arm and hand remain significantly impaired.  Despite therapy, the doctors do not believe that he will regain full use, and therefore, most likely will not be able to return to work or driving.   Papa C hopes to return home, as do we.   The goal of this campaign is twofold: to defray current and future medical expenses; and to retrofit his home and provide in-home services to help him be successful
