Jen's Chemo & Surgery

On March 25, my wife, Jennifer, went to the ER at Mountains Community Hospital for abdominal pain. She has since, been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her liver. She is having surgery on April 25, 2016. She has good insurance, but was just told today that she has a $5000 deductible that must be met before Monday, or surgery will be cancelled. We are using our savings but come up a little short. She will then be starting chemotherapy, and will have co-pays for each session. She is on a medical leave of absence from her job at Mountains Community Hospital, and we are waiting for disability to kick in. She has an aggressive cancer and time of essence. We cannot reschedule or postpone her surgery. Any amount will help. Thank you very much!
