Keep The Dream Alive

Hi there my name is Michael I’m fundraising for the Vesely Family - Mario, Nicci, Ziko and Carlito who recently lost there most prized possessions in a fire.

on Saturday 27/11/21 after working all day in the family business at ‘Learn To Paddle Now’ on Narrabeen Lakes the family left their personal kayaks stored within the Jamieson Park Council premises. A few hours later the entire building was alight.

Locals and Fire Brigade saved some of the businesses training ski’s but the kids and Mario’s personal kayaks (approx $6,000 each) paddles and other stock were destroyed.

This is a major setback for Ziko and Carlito and their dreams of representing Australia at the Olympics and World Champs in kayaking.

Ziko in particular had his sights set on the 2024 Olympics.

Mario is a single Dad and has raised his 3 kids whilst establishing the Learn To Paddle Now business at Narrabeen and The Spit.

The kayaks and equipment were not insured.

Please help us help this family get back on their feet and Keep The Dream Alive for the kids.
