My name is Suzanne Fandel and like so many of you, I am a longtime friend of Stephanie Peterson Jones (aka Peety). Steph recently underwent surgery to remove a cancerous nodule from her lung. Thankfully she received excellent treatment at Duke Medical Center, and the initial findings are that the cancer has not spread to surrounding tissue, which is great; further prognosis has yet to be discussed.

Unfortunately, like so many folks, her out-of-pocket expenses are cumbersome and after talking to a few other concerned friends, a GoFundMe seemed fitting.

I hope you will welcome the opportunity to alleviate some of the financial stress of this circumstance and allow Steph to spend her energy on healing and creating the beautiful art she is known for.
