My name is Danna Cabrera and I’m making this gofundme for a close friend of mine. Last night, October 29th, Amber Castro (20) was shot in the back of the neck. Thankfully she is okay and recovering but definitely has a long way to go. She’s currently in the hospital for the next 7 days after suffering damage to her cervical vertebrae and ongoing 2 major surgeries. She will also need a significant amount of physical therapy and rehabilitation upon being discharged. Medical bills can be very expensive and my friends and I want to help take a weight off her family’s shoulders during a very difficult time. Donations will be given directly to her family and will be used to cover medical expenses as well as helping Amber get back to her normal life. Update:

11/3 Amber continues her recovery in the hospital and has started her first couple sessions of rehab. She’s making progress day by day and has shown increased movement in her wrist and arm so far. 

We were able to show Amber the gofundme and she was so happy to see how much love and support she is receiving. Reading the list of people who’ve donated put a big smile on her face.  Thank you all so much for the support and donations once again.
