Arvin, Jessica, Christian, and Alex had to face a traumatic experience of having their house catch on fire. Even though they all made it out safely and unharmed, a lot of their personal belongings were lost in the fire.

The fire started in the basement due to an exploding water heater. Arvin's and Jessica's room were the first to experience the flames. The fire made its way to the living room on the 1st floor, and then to the 2nd floor bedrooms where Alex and Christian stayed. Alex, Christian, and Jessica were able to salvage a few of their belongings, however, there was nothing to salvage in Arvin's room.
