Every day, women in Tanzania face unimaginable challenges — poverty, gender-based violence, lack of education, and limited access to safe opportunities. Many are left without support, without a voice, and without hope.

Seed Grant Impact (SGI) exists to change that.

We work directly in vulnerable communities to restore dignity, strengthen resilience, and create real pathways out of hardship. Guided by the Reflective Leadership Approach, we walk with survivors of gender-based violence and women living in extreme poverty — helping them heal, rebuild, and rise.

What We Do

Identify and support survivors

We meet women where they are — often in crisis — and help them regain safety, stability, and emotional strength.

Build empowerment groups

Women come together to share their stories, receive psychological support, and learn to see themselves as capable, powerful agents of change.

Provide practical skills and business training

We offer financial literacy, entrepreneurship lessons, and hands-on training so women can start small businesses and generate stable income.

Offer micro-loans and startup support

With small grants, women open shops, run market stalls, produce food items, or start tailoring businesses — becoming financially independent and proud of their achievements.

Strengthen communities
