Help with Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Alison White and I am a friend of the Macarilla family. I created this GoFundMe Account as a way to help Christian Macarilla honor his wife in death and help him pay for her funeral expenses. Louannatha and Christian grew up as high school sweethearts and were recently married. They found purpose in their lives in service of caring for others. Louanntha's tragic accident left her family devastated yet they still made the hard decision to donate, giving others the gift of life. Please consider offering your prayer and support, and make a financial donation to help Christian get through this difficult time. Christian will be the only beneficiary of all donations.
The following is from Traci Patterson, Christian's mother:
Love for Louanntha
We lost our best girl, our daughter, friend, wife, and the love of Christian’s life. Louie and Christian met on his birthday after Lou had her wisdom teeth out. We all fell in love when she got out of the car with puffy cheeks and her sweet face. We were family from that moment on. Lou and Christian were inseparable and soulmates with a love that most people only dream about. Over space and time, school, and a few states later, their wedding day finally arrived. Two people absolutely destined for a lifetime of love. Louie was going to be a doctor. She was going to save lives. She was brilliant, kind, sassy, funny, loving, selfless, and took care of everyone around her. Her final gift was organ donation. Her final act to save lives just as she always wanted to do. We are so proud of this beautiful extraordinary woman. Everyone should be this good. Everyone should have the kind of love she so freely gave and the love she shared with Christian. Our love and gratitude for her has a depth that we could never capture with words. Christian has tried with these: “I am truly at a loss for words. At 10:49 this morning, I lost the woman I vowed to walk this earth with. Almost 10 years shattered and feelings I cannot comprehend. Broken does not begin to explain. Lou, you were going to be a phenomenal doctor. I will always love you. I hope there is a day when I will see you again.”
