I have begun the process of adopting two young children from Africa.  I can't publically give many details, but you can get more information if you request to join my blog - delgatty.wordpress.com.  I have had many requests to set up this Go Fund Me account, so here goes.  My financial needs are as follows:

By December 1st: $3650 - Home Study & Agency Fees
By Jan 1st: $5000 - Legal Fees & 1st Trip To Cameroon
ASAP thereafter: $5350 - Legal & Processing Expenses
Before Final Court Date: $6000 - Home preparation & their final trip home
Total: $20,000*

My goal is to apply for and hopefully be approved for some grants, but those will not come immediately.  I also have some fund raising ideas in the works, and I'll be sure to note those on this site as they help move toward my goal amount.  In the mean time, if you want to join with me in moving toward my fund raising, please do!

Tax Deduction? I can't arrange to give you a tax receipt through this site. However, there are two options for giving that can get you that tax deductible receipt.  If you are wanting a receipt, ask me about options BEFORE you give through this site.

I hope you will be renewed and inspired as you join me in praying, rejoicing, struggling, and holding fast to faith as I pursue this adoption. I am honored to be chosen as their mother, and I am excited about the story unfolding before us. It is a story of renewal, of grace, and of patience. It is also a brilliant illustration of the love the Father has for us.
