Medical Missionary Trip to Haiti

Since I was a young girl I’ve always had dreams about making a difference beyond our global economy. As a post undergraduate student, I obtained a bachelors degree in Public Health and a minor in Social Justice. My long term goal is to become a Public Health Nurse. I aspire to travel the world providing health care to less fortunate families who are in need of health care assistance. I also aspire to open up my own health care clinic in Sierra Leone, West Africa where my family were born and raised. Being apart of this journey will offer me a unique clinical experience and health care perspective. Working together with healthcare providers, nurse professionals, and nursing students will give me the opportunity to perform what I do best. I will be able to provide compassionate care and share my expertise with local professionals as well.  Behold, it will also be an occasion to donate well needed medical supplies to those in need.
